tree frogs

One of the things I love about living in the upper Midwest is the little tree frogs that suction themselves to our windows at night.  I think they are amazingly beautiful from the tiny suction cups on their feet to the little membrane under their chins that very slightly vibrate.  I wonder if this is from making a very quiet noise?  Or just breathing?

My friend, "The Town Mouse", thinks that tree frogs are quite gross.  I feel that this is most probably a character flaw.  But in failing to appreciate them she is really only hurting herself in not experiencing life to its fullest.

Tree frogs are definitely cool.  And hard to photograph.  Here is a tree frog taken from the underside as he suctioned himself to our glass sliding door last night.
